Vinda Household Paper (China) Co., a subsidiary of Golden Eagle Group, has launched the Phase III expansion of its Hubei tissue paper production facility, a project designed to add 320,000 tonnes of annual tissue production capacity.

As part of the expansion, Baotuo Paper Machinery, a subsidiary of Baosuo Group, has signed a contract to supply six BC1800-3490 high-speed Crescent Former tissue machines.

The agreement marks the fourth collaboration between Golden Eagle Group and Baosuo Group, following previous projects in Guangdong, Jiangxi and Shandong. With the latest order, the total number of Crescent Former tissue machines contracted between the two companies has reached 18 units.

According to the companies, the newly ordered machines will be equipped with 18-foot Yankee dryers and feature a design speed of 1,800 metres per minute. Each machine will have a paper width of 3,490 mm and an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes.

The Phase III project is intended to expand Vinda’s tissue manufacturing capacity in China and support future production growth.

Golden Eagle Group is part of RGE (Royal Golden Eagle), a group of resource-based manufacturing companies operating across sectors including pulp and paper, palm oil, dissolving pulp, viscose fibre and energy. RGE’s paper-related businesses include APRIL, Asia Symbol and Vinda.

Founded in 1973 by Sukanto Tanoto, RGE operates in multiple countries, including Indonesia, China, Brazil, Spain and Canada, and employs more than 80,000 people globally.

The latest agreement strengthens the long-standing partnership between Golden Eagle Group and Baosuo Group as both companies continue to invest in tissue production capacity and manufacturing technology in China.
