VPK Group has acquired full ownership of Fencor Packaging Group, strengthening its position in the UK corrugated packaging market and expanding its manufacturing footprint in the country.

The transaction follows VPK’s acquisition of a minority stake in Fencor Packaging Group in 2024. The UK company owns Manor Packaging, which operates a corrugated packaging manufacturing facility alongside storage and warehousing operations in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. The site serves customers across the UK.

Under the new ownership structure, Manor Packaging will continue to operate as a standalone business within VPK Group. The company said the approach is intended to provide continuity for customers and employees while enabling Manor Packaging to benefit from VPK’s broader expertise and network. Manor Packaging also maintains a strong trading relationship with CorrBoard UK, in which VPK holds a majority stake.

Martin Taylor, Managing Director of VPK UK & Ireland, said Manor Packaging is a well-invested and agile business with strong customer relationships and service levels, adding that VPK intends to support its next phase of growth.

David Orr, Group Managing Director of Fencor Packaging Group, said the acquisition places Manor Packaging within a long-term family-owned company with similar values and a significant UK presence. Orr is set to retire after 26 years of managing and developing the business.

Tony Clifton, currently Sales Director at Manor Packaging, will assume the role of Managing Director and continue leading the business.

The acquisition is the latest step in VPK’s broader strategy of expanding its corrugated packaging operations across Europe and strengthening its presence in key regional markets.
