VPK Packaging has announced the appointment of Martin Taylor as Managing Director for its UK and Ireland operations, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on growth and long-term investment in the region.

The appointment highlights the importance of the UK and Ireland as key markets for VPK Group, where the company operates multiple manufacturing sites serving sectors including FMCG, beverage, retail, and e-commerce. The move aligns with VPK’s continued efforts to strengthen local production capabilities and enhance supply chain resilience.

Martin Taylor brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience across the food, fresh produce, dairy, and packaging industries. His background spans both operational and commercial roles, with expertise in multi-site management, manufacturing leadership, and business transformation.

Patrick Leclercq, Divisional CEO Corrugated Board at VPK Group, said that Taylor’s extensive experience and people-focused leadership style make him well suited to lead the business through its next phase of development. He also emphasised the company’s ongoing commitment to investing in the UK and Ireland and building strong, long-term partnerships with customers.

Commenting on his appointment, Taylor expressed enthusiasm about joining VPK at a pivotal time for the business. He highlighted the company’s strong reputation for manufacturing excellence, sustainability, and customer focus, and acknowledged the contribution of Paul Barber, who served as Interim Managing Director and supported the transition.
