VPK Packaging UK & Ireland has appointed three logistics providers to deliver a new national storage and distribution solution supporting its UK packaging operations.

Campeys of Selby, Premier Logistics, and Wrings Transport will work together under the framework of the Transport Association (TA) – all three companies will manage the transport of full-load and high-volume packaging from VPK’s main UK manufacturing sites to customers across the food, retail, and e-commerce sectors.

VPK said sustainability and operational efficiency are central to the new model.

By aligning trunking routes and consolidating freight flows across the partner network, VPK will significantly reduce empty running, lower emissions, and improve fleet utilisation. The collaboration also allows for full-load backhauling and optimised scheduling, driving both environmental and financial benefits.

Paul Barber, interim managing director, VPK Packaging UK & Ireland, said: “This collaboration with Campeys of Selby, Premier Logistics and Wrings Transport reflects the way we want to work, combining innovation, transparency and sustainability to deliver real value for our customers.

“By aligning three family-run operators under one national framework, we gain the scale, flexibility and visibility to strengthen our UK supply chain while reducing emissions and improving efficiency. It’s a model built on trust and shared purpose, and it demonstrates what can be achieved when businesses collaborate to move the industry forward.”
