Xianhe Co., Ltd. Advances Household Paper Expansion at Hubei Base

Xianhe Co., Ltd. said it will continue advancing its 200,000 tonnes per annum household paper project at its Hubei production base as part of its expansion strategy outlined in the company’s 2025 annual report.

The company reported operating revenue of approximately RMB 12.343 billion in 2025, representing a 20.14% increase year-on-year. Revenue from its daily consumer goods segment, which includes thermal materials, transfer paper, label release paper and tissue paper products, rose 13.96% to about RMB 5.508 billion.

During the reporting period, Hubei Xianhe accelerated construction of its tissue paper project. The company completed installation and commissioning of the production line ahead of schedule and began trial operations before officially starting production and sales in January 2025. Tissue paper sales volume reached approximately 46,900 tonnes during the year.

For 2026, the company said it will focus on ramping up production capacity at its Hubei and Guangxi bases. The household paper project is expected to serve as a new business segment for the company, with plans to develop an independent production and sales ecosystem aligned with market demand.

Separately, Xianhe Co., Ltd. disclosed that it signed an investment agreement on June 30, 2025, with the People’s Government of Hejiang County in Sichuan Province for an integrated bamboo pulp and paper project.

The project is expected to involve total investment of approximately RMB 11 billion and will be developed in two phases. The first phase includes investment of around RMB 5.5 billion to build a 400,000 t/a bamboo pulp line and a 600,000 t/a high-performance paper-based new materials production line, including 200,000 t/a of household paper capacity. The company said the project’s annual output value is expected to exceed RMB 5 billion once fully operational.
