Yuhan-Kimberly announced the launch of Kleenex Soompeon Tissue on January 15, targeting winter and seasonal transition periods. The product features premium fabric infused with moisturizing lotion to minimize irritation during frequent nose blowing or wiping in dry conditions, enhanced by naturally derived menthol components.
Menthol resides in invisible microcapsules that burst upon rubbing or crumpling the tissue, delivering prolonged refreshing sensation. Made from food additive code-listed natural ingredients, the capsules passed microplastic-free verification, skin irritation tests, and eye irritation alternative tests.
The thick three-ply natural pulp construction resists tearing from moisture or contaminants, enabling clean usage without nose chapping or hand residue even with repeated application.
Yuhan-Kimberly's Gimcheon plant, producing the new item, secured FSC® CoC certification (FSC®-C207933) for wood manufacturing, processing, and distribution. All Kleenex facial tissues from this facility now hold official sustainability certification covering certified forest raw materials through final processing.
A Kleenex representative stated, "Building on the successful launch of our previous 'Kopenhan Tissue,' we have expanded our product lineup with seasonally specialized offerings. We will continue to provide differentiated customer experiences with innovative products that address hidden needs."
